Australian and American veterans who survived the events in Rabaul during the Pacific War tell firsthand of their incredible experiences. They survived against all odds. How did they do it? Gripping accounts from ten Australian and two American veterans and civilians who tell of them experiences during the dark days in Rabaul in the 1940’s.

Firsthand stories of escape for some and imprisonment in Rabaul and Japan for those less fortunate. We learn a lot about the experiences of those souls who did not make it home by listening to the stories of 12 who survived against all odds because some did indeed come home.

Interviews run for a total of 3 hours and 39 minutes.
